At this year's Chesapeake Open I will be trying out a new system of texting your pairing directly to your cell phone.
Each person will receive a custom message with your board number, color, and Opponent's name. This is a trail of what I plan to use at large scholastic tournaments next year where it will help reduce the time for people to find their boards and lead to a more efficient tournament. I will be using a custom program that I have written. So I will be interested in feedback from players. |
